Denver Health Is Always Here for Our Community - When and Where It Matters.

The number of visits to Denver Health from people experiencing homelessness – including veterans and older residents with mental health issues, or lost jobs and incomes – reached nearly 30,000 in 2023, a 30% increase from the year before.

Mental health and substance-use care

Denver Health is on the front lines when it comes to mental and behavioral health disorders, substance use disorders, and supporting people who are experiencing homelessness.

Essential care for Denver Public School Students

Denver Health runs 19 school-based health clinics across the city, providing essential care to 17,000 K-12 students. For some children, these clinics represent their only opportunity to get quality health care.

Public Health Emergency and Disaster Preparedness

Denver Health serves as one of only 13 facilities in the nation designated for public health emergencies and unexpected bio-threats such as Ebola and measles.

Denver Health cares for the entire Denver community regardless of one's ability to pay.
